Dr Kim has been used as an expert witness in the areas of latex allergy, mold allergy claims, product liability, medical malpractice, workers compensation, disability evaluations, and civil litigation for both the plaintiff and defense.

Since 1993, he has been involved in over 70 latex allergy claims, over 500 workers compensation cases, and numerous disability, civil, and product litigation cases in the area of allergy and asthma. He has been deposed over 21 times in this period of time. Specific areas of expertise: mold litigation, latex allergy, sick building syndrome, pediatric and adult asthma, atopic dermatitis, eczema, hives, chronic cough, food/drug allergy, insect stings and occupational asthma.
